ABOUT THE COVER
This month’s cover dog is Beta, a rescue mutt who belongs to Palo Alto-based animal photographer Luiza Naslausky who took the photo. Naslausky is a lifelong dog lover and Brazilian native who began archiving dog breeds from the streets of Rio de Janeiro when she was 13. She often volunteers her photography services at animal rescues, striving to capture each individual’s essence to help them connect with people.
