I’ll attest to this nightmare! [“What’s a ‘Real’ Service Dog?” June] We have a “service dog” in our building. The owner didn’t supply the proper documentation, and the dog is people- and dog-aggressive. The owners of the building are scared to death to evict the dog because of its “status”—which is legally nothing, because it’s not a real service dog. I know our situation is not unique, but it should be completely unacceptable.
We misspelled the cartoonist Mark Ziemann’s name last issue.
