Carb Conundrum

Bay Woof, care to share any peer reviewed scientific studies backing up these claims? [“Dogs and Carbs Are Not a Good Recipe,” October]

Did you know one of the main differences between dogs and wolves is that dogs produce the enzymes needed to digest carbohydrates, while wolves do not?

Join Your Family

Some of our adoptable pups were lucky enough to grace the pages of this month’s edition of Bay Woof [“Adoptable Dogs, November”]! We especially need to find a home for our boy Rocky by Dec. 1, when his current foster can no longer take care of him. Let us know if that person is you.

Check our website for more information. Some of these pups recently graduated and are now part of our alumni class, like Ares and Max. Will you be able to help the others gain their alumni status?

Those Volunteers

Bay Woof thanks a few selfless animal rescue volunteers in the latest issue [Thanks, Volunteers, for Being So Awesome,” November] … and look who is included! Muttville’s own Craig Hermes.
