Guide Dogs for the Blind’s Graduation Ceremonies. Sat., Oct. 27; Nov. 10 and 24; Dec. 8 and 22, 1:30 p.m. Guide Dogs for the Blind California Campus, 350 Los Ranchitos Road, San Rafael. Honor the independence and companionship that GDB’s exceptional guide dogs provide for the people they will serve. These services also allow GDB clients to meet the committed puppy raisers who cared for their canine heroes until they were old enough to begin formal training at GDB’s campus. There will also be opportunities to win several exciting gift baskets. All proceeds will benefit Paws In Need’s animal medical program. Pawtrero’s 12th Annual Dog Day Afternoon and Adoption Event. Sun., Nov. 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Brannan Street in between the Emabarcedero and Delancey Street. Pawtrero will be having a raffle with all the proceeds getting split up between all the rescues in attendance.
