Looking for your next BFF? Waffles stands by his name in being a sweet and loyal companion. You can count on this guy to be there for you when you want to play ball, cuddle on the couch, or teach a trick. He is incredibly smart and loves to please. Waffles even has his own Facebook page,, and his own blog post at He’s about 10 years young and weighs in at about 13 pounds.




Ginger is a Pug and Chihuahua mix who became a Silicon Valley Pet Project favorite from the moment we rescued her. At about 6 years old and 15 pounds, Ginger is a sweet and charming gal with a penchant for serious snuggles and the odd weekend hike. She loves playing with toys, gets along well with other dogs, ignores kitties, and does well with respectful kids. She has a wonderful temperament, and she is the perfect canine companion.




This little dreamboat is ready to prance right into your life. He’s a happy little fellow who loves going for walks and taking naps with his person. He’s past the crazy and destructive puppy phase and is ready to find a companion who appreciates his nice manners and easy-going demeanor. He’s fantastic in the car, great in the house, and a gem to be around. We’re helping him slim down a bit and become the sleek and svelte minpin we know he’s meant to be. Diesel would be happy as an only dog or could happily hang with other pets, so long as they’re not overly rambunctious. Diesel is about 6 years old and 11 pounds.




This little fellow’s ready to steal your heart. He’s impeccably housetrained and would rather nap on his dog bed than chew on the remote control. He gets along peacefully with other calm and respectful pooches and will happily ignore kitties. He knows basic commands and is a grade-A snuggler. He rides well in the car and loves walks. A beautiful tan-and-white Chihuahua mix, Hero is a young 12 years old and 15 pounds. He’s an ideal companion for someone with a busy lifestyle. He’s delighted when you’re home, but you needn’t feel guilty about a busy workweek. Hero even has his own blog:




Pipsqueak may be petite, but she’s got a lot of happiness going on. She’s got a big attitude and a big heart. This tiny 5?-pound girl came with a heart condition and a few other medical challenges that required specialized care. Today, she is sassy, spunky, and fully recovered. Her vet expects her to have a normal life with no real restrictions. She has a terrific appetite and squeaks for her meals. She is perfectly house trained and has even mastered the doggie door. She is about 8 years young.
